Please forgive me if this commentary comes across as a little self-serving, but frankly, I don\u2019t really give a damn what you think about it.\u00a0 In football parlance, I think I have earned my opportunity to \u201cspike the football.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elton John echoed in my head last week as the SCOTUS ruled in favor of football coaches praying with their players.\u00a0 I was sued by the ACLU in 1997 for doing just that.\u00a0 Vindication has been a long time coming\u2026and it is for that reason I am spiking the ball today.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd don\u2019t you know I\u2019m still standing better than I ever did?\u00a0 Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid.\u00a0 And I\u2019m still standing after all this time. Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind.\u00a0 I\u2019M STILL STANDING.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In 1997 our life was turned upside down when the ACLU came knocking on the schoolhouse door and accused me of violating the \u201cseparation between church and state\u201d by the despicable act of actually BEING a Christian in a secular setting.\u00a0 I fought for 2 years against that Luciferian organization and their acolytes as they did their best to drive me and my Christian faith from the public square.<\/p>\n

I fought them and I fought them hard\u2026often times standing alone\u2026as the cowardly pastors in our community hid under the pulpits. (See:\u00a0Enemies Within: The Church<\/a>)\u00a0 They called me a law-breaker.\u00a0 They whispered that I wasn\u2019t acting in a Christian way by not following Romans 13.\u00a0 They told me I was making Christianity look bad.\u00a0 They told me I should comply with Lucifer\u2019s edicts.\u00a0 They turned me into the villain\u2026for unashamedly presenting Christianity to America\u2019s public-school children.<\/p>\n

It appeared to have cost me and my family nearly everything.\u00a0 \u00a0But it was an investment\u2026not a cost.<\/p>\n

But I want you to know that today\u2026this week\u2026I feel a great sense of vindication.\u00a0 I was right in 1997 and I am still right today.\u00a0 NO ONE CAN MAKE A LAW AGAINST PRAYING.\u00a0 Free exercise means\u2026well\u2026free exercise.\u00a0 God gave me the right to pray and only God can take that right away.<\/p>\n

Not some disgruntled parent.\u00a0 Not some cowardly superintendent.\u00a0 Not some agnostic principal.\u00a0 Not some terrorist in a black robe being prompted by the Luciferian ACLU.\u00a0 The right to pray is inalienable\u2026endowed to me by my Creator\u2026no matter how much someone else doesn\u2019t like it.\u00a0 CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW\u2026that\u2019s pretty clear to me.\u00a0 How about you?\u00a0 Is it clear to you?<\/p>\n

Free exercise of religion CANNOT be restricted.\u00a0 Period.\u00a0 Courts don\u2019t make law.\u00a0 A court opinion is just that\u2026and opinion.\u00a0 Opinions, even those offered from the highest court in the land, are not laws.\u00a0 Congress makes laws\u2026.and Congress shall make no law.<\/p>\n

This week our local media circled back to a 25-year-old story.\u00a0 The Luciferian ACLU still don\u2019t understand they lost.\u00a0 You can watch the\u00a02-minute clip here.<\/a><\/p>\n

But that is not the purpose of this reflection.\u00a0 I am not a martyr, although I would be honored to be one.\u00a0 This is not about ME, but about the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

He promised us in the Word that \u201call things WORK TOGETHER for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.\u201d\u00a0 Notice that it doesn\u2019t say that all things WILL BE GOOD\u2026but that He will make good come from it.\u00a0 All things work together for good\u2026<\/p>\n

I was struck today as I reviewed the short media clip at just how biased the media is against Christianity and how focused they are on creating a narrative.\u00a0 You see it everywhere you look\u2026the media is doing it\u2019s best to overthrow the recent court rulings because it doesn\u2019t fit the paradigm that they are trying to program all of us into.<\/p>\n

Christianity is bad\u2026don\u2019t you know? And now this evil SCOTUS is going to try and shove liberty down your throats, after nearly 60 years of absolute tyranny.\u00a0 The Luciferian Left are sore losers.\u00a0 They hate the fact that they have lost the power center of the SCOTUS.\u00a0 Now they can no longer force tyranny upon us through \u201ccourt opinions.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 Thank you, Donald Trump.\u00a0 The American people do not agree with the Luciferian Left agenda.<\/p>\n

Not one of the radical social agenda changes have come from the vote of the people.\u00a0 ALL of them have come from \u201copinions\u201d of Left-leaning judges.\u00a0 It is a new day in America.<\/p>\n

Someone asked me what I thought as I watched the interview with the media hell-bent on making me look like a religious tyrant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere are the witnesses on my behalf\u201d,<\/em>\u00a0I asked myself.\u00a0 \u201cWhy doesn\u2019t the media call for testimonies from the literally thousands of lives who have been impacted by the strong Christian stand I have taken?<\/em>\u00a0 The line of testifiers would be around the block\u2026<\/p>\n

The story of lives changed by the influence of one Christian man who refused to bow.\u00a0 Families impacted by the lessons learned by the young men whom we coached.\u00a0 Men who have become wonderful fathers, husbands, business owners, community leaders.\u00a0 Why won\u2019t they show the fruit of the Christianity that we shared with hundreds of young people over the years?<\/p>\n

Without sounding arrogant, we are impacting more lives TODAY than we ever could have locked up in a locker room in some high school in America.\u00a0 Our impact is reaching the world\u2026the masses.\u00a0 Heck, YOU are reading this article because the ACLU hates me and what I stand for.\u00a0 I thank God everyday for allowing me to go through that painful experience 25 years ago.<\/p>\n

Look friends, we are in a war.\u00a0 The \u201cworld\u201d hates Christians and the Christ we claim to serve.\u00a0 There are casualties in war.\u00a0 The landscape of America is strewn with the broken lives of those who have been destroyed by governmental and educational liars.\u00a0 It was our job to stand in the gap for them and teach them the ways of Truth.\u00a0\u00a0We have dropped the ball.\u00a0 It is time to pick it back up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, more than any time in American history, Christians must stand boldly and publicly for the TRUTH.\u00a0 Will it come at a cost?\u00a0 Probably.\u00a0 Will you ever recover your losses?\u00a0 Maybe.<\/p>\n

Standing for Jesus is the most gratifying thing you will ever do.\u00a0 Scarred and wounded, despised and shunned.\u00a0 Hated of all men for the Lord\u2019s sake.\u00a0 Being a Christian isn\u2019t for sissies.\u00a0 Look what the lord has done.\u00a0 He is faithful.\u00a0 Vindication.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m still standing.<\/p>\n
