Sadly, many Christians think that after they are born again, the next big event is going to heaven. Thus, life for the modern American Christian becomes a quest for their best life now.<\/p>\n<p>Is that really Christianity? Is that what Jesus taught? Is that the message of the Bible? The answer is a resounding NO. There is so much more for every believer in Jesus Christ to experience. We are told this throughout the pages of Scripture. For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paul wrote to the Colossian believers that Jesus Christ is our hope of glory (Col. 1:27).<\/li>\n<li>To the Roman believers, Paul wrote: For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us (Rom. 8:18).<\/li>\n<li>The writer to the Hebrews said that Jesus Christ is bringing many sons to glory (Heb. 2:10).<\/li>\n<li>And the Apostle Peter wrote in his 2<sup>nd<\/sup> epistle that believers will become partakers of the divine nature of Jesus Christ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Friends, it sure sounds to me like Christians have a spiritual inheritance of unimaginable glory. But don\u2019t just see this within the context of the sweet by and by.
