The world, today, is riddled with sin and depravity, the likes of which we have never seen before.\u00a0 As human beings, we have lost our moral compass, because we have continued in our rebellion against Almighty God.\u00a0 Make no mistake, the God of Heaven IS our Creator,\u00a0 the King of Kings and His Son, Jesus Christ, our Messiah IS Lord of Lords.\u00a0 This is the truth, and the truth cannot be changed.\u00a0 GOD does not change.\u00a0 He is the same yesterday, today and forever.\u00a0 And 2 + 2 will ALWAYS equal 4 \u2014\u00a0even if we want to believe<\/u><\/em>\u00a0it\u2019s 9 \u2014 or in today\u2019s world, with our reprobate minds, we may even try to assert that 2+2\u00a0 equals ORANGE, or BLUE or RAINBOW SWIRLIES!<\/p>\n

But the feeble thoughts of man are all futile, because truth is truth, and we have DENIED the truth.\u00a0 We have rejected our Creator and our Savior.\u00a0 We have cursed Him, we have even taught our children He doesn\u2019t exist, and is just a figment of the imaginations of ignorant, superstitious, uneducated men of old.\u00a0 (And today, everyone KNOWS that MEN \u2014 especially old and WISE MEN, are no longer relevant\u2026 in fact, they are to be despised).<\/p>\n

And therefore, because we deny and reject the King of Kings, and the ancient, timeless TRUTHS of God\u2019s Holy Word, like the people we read about in the book of Judges, \u201cevery man does that which he feels is right in his own eyes.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 NO MORAL COMPASS.<\/p>\n

Of course, we know from one of those wise old men of ancient times, as we read in Proverbs 14, \u201cThere is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0We also read: \u201cA wise man feareth and departs from evil, but the fool rages and is confident.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 And Psalm 2:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cWhy do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?\u00a0 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His anointed\u2026\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 WHO do we think we ARE?\u00a0 We think we are wiser than God.\u00a0 We think we know what\u2019s best for ourselves.\u00a0 Indeed, today, we are so narcissistic, we actually believe we, ourselves, actually ARE the only gods that exist.<\/p>\n

Friends, there is a battle raging all around us and we don\u2019t comprehend the enormity or significance of it.\u00a0 Certainly the worldly, unsaved don\u2019t see it; and very FEW church-goers truly understand what is going on.\u00a0 We are not taught about these things in our Institutional Churches today.\u00a0 We\u2019re taught about how to have a happy marriage, how to be a good neighbor, how God just LOVES everybody, the whole world, no matter what, and of course we are taught how to tithe to the church.\u00a0 We\u2019re taught about how to have our best life NOW, how to\u00a0GET BLESSINGS FROM GOD, and riches and prosperity.\u00a0\u00a0 In more and more churches, we are outright LIED to, and the greater, weightier matters of the WHOLE counsel of God are never spoken of.\u00a0 So we need not wonder why our world and our country is in such disarray.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cWe all, like sheep, have gone astray, we have turned, every one, to our own way.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Our problem is spiritual apathy and biblical illiteracy of course, but at the most basic level our problem is sin.\u00a0 But where did sin originate?\u00a0 And who was the first sinner?\u00a0 Some may say it was Eve, or even Adam and Eve together.\u00a0 But that is not entirely accurate.\u00a0 Sin and rebellion against God FIRST arose in the very inner circle of God Himself.\u00a0 In the beginning,\u00a0\u201cwar arose in heaven\u2026 Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.\u00a0 But the dragon was not strong enough and they lost their place in heaven.\u00a0 The great dragon was hurled down \u2014 that ancient serpent called the devil or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.\u00a0 He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>(Revelation 12).<\/p>\n

Now look at Genesis 3:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cNow the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made\u2026.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0We all know what happened next.\u00a0 That ancient serpent, called the devil, or Satan, began leading the whole world astray, by first preying upon an innocent and naive woman using lies and deception, causing her \u2014 and her husband with her \u2014 to question God and reject Him.\u00a0 God had given them the WHOLE WORLD to rule over and subdue and to be their home.\u00a0 At that time, He had only ONE restriction, and that restriction was for their own well being and safety.\u00a0 But the serpent was craftier, filled with lies and deceit, and wanted nothing more than to destroy God\u2019s image bearers, bringing death and destruction upon us all.\u00a0 And they fell for it.\u00a0 And so do we.<\/p>\n

Even as believers in Christ, how often do we, in our own imaginations, try to justify what WE want to do \u2014 even though we know it is against God\u2019s will \u2014 by listening to that serpent\u2019s voice that whispers,\u00a0\u201cDid God REALLY say???\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 And if it is like this for CHRISTIANS, how much worse for those who have outright rejected and despised the very THOUGHT of God, our Creator?<\/p>\n

Now, GOD, from the foundations of the earth, made a way for us to find our way BACK to Him, through His Son, Jesus.\u00a0 Jesus explained to Nicodemus,\u00a0\u201cLight has come into the world, but people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.\u00a0 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.\u00a0 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Jesus may have been referring to the words of Isaiah 9 here:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThe people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned\u2026\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 But of course, even in Isaiah\u2019s day, the people loved the darkness more, and because of their arrogance, the Lord allowed them to go their own way and suffer His wrath.\u00a0 Later in Isaiah 9 we read,\u00a0\u201cSo the Lord will cut off from Israel both head and tail, both palm branch and reed in a single day; the ELDERS and DIGNITARIES are the head, the PROPHETS who teach lies are the tail.\u00a0 Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Of course, we know that in the last days, \u201cpeople will not put up with sound doctrine.\u00a0 Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 But it seems this is not just something that happens in the last days\u2026. it\u2019s been going on forever.\u00a0 How many prophets of God were shunned, tortured and killed for speaking the truth, for shouting\u00a0\u2018Thus saith the LORD,\u2019<\/em>\u00a0even in the days long before Paul wrote these words to Timothy?<\/p>\n

As we see in Isaiah, and all throughout Scripture, God is furious with the elders, the dignitaries, the false prophets who teach lies and mislead people and lead them astray.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What words did JESUS use to describe the Scribes and Pharisees and religious leaders of His day?\u00a0\u00a0God is equally furious with the cowardly pastors of today who do the VERY SAME\u2026. speaking lies, refusing the preach the whole counsel of God in order to remain well-liked and popular among the people<\/u>\u2026 telling the people what they want to hear, rather than the truth.\u00a0 Truly, they ARE a brood of vipers\u2026 SERPENTS, like their father, the devil.\u00a0 Jesus described them well.<\/p>\n

You see, we have set up for ourselves TEACHERS, rather than being \u201chomeschool\u201d\u00a0 STUDENTS, rather than being Bereans and studying on our own, to show ourselves approved workmen that need not be ashamed.\u00a0 We have turned Christianity into a spectator sport.\u00a0 All we are expected to do now is sit and listen and then go home.\u00a0 Our Bibles are dusty, friends!\u00a0 We cannot blame the false teachers and cowardly pastors for ALL the judgment of God that has fallen upon us.\u00a0 Ultimately, we are responsible, ESPECIALLY in this country of America where we still have the freedom and ability to KNOW God\u2019s Word and Jesus\u2019 commands.\u00a0 The false teachers and popular pastors are not changing their ways.\u00a0 They have been with us from the beginning.\u00a0 If we want to know the truth, it is up to US to seek and find it.<\/p>\n

But that is a narrow road that few will ever take.\u00a0 The broad way that leads to destruction is much more convenient.\u00a0 It\u2019s a four-lane highway of ease and comfort.\u00a0 And we live our Christian lives on \u2018cruise control,\u2019 as we crank up the praise and worship music, raise our hands in song, sway back and forth to the \u201cbeat\u201d and utter our prayers in vain to a God who will NOT hear because we are such children of disobedience.<\/p>\n

We are not supposed to rely on the \u201cprofessional\u201d Christians to teach us.\u00a0 We need to study, learn and understand the things of God OURSELVES\u00a0 and we are without excuse because God has made all things plain to those who seek that truth.\u00a0 Let me ask you:\u00a0\u00a0do you think the devil uses people<\/u>\u00a0in his evil schemes?\u00a0 Of course, he does.\u00a0 Likewise,\u00a0does GOD not ALSO use people<\/u>?\u00a0 Yes, and He does not seek out the high and mighty \u201cprofessional Christians.\u201d\u00a0 He seeks the humble of spirit, and He uses those He knows He can trust because they truly love Him.<\/p>\n

The enemy of our souls \u2014 the serpent \u2014 was cast out of heaven along with a third of the angels and they are with us NOW, today, on this earth, wreaking havoc.\u00a0 Those angels are demon spirits and they thirst for the blood of God\u2019s image-bearers.\u00a0 Peter tells us,\u00a0\u201cBe alert and of sober mind.\u00a0 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.\u00a0 Resist him, standing firm in the faith\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Back to Revelation 12:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cWoe to the earth and the sea because the devil has gone down to you!\u00a0 He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Friends, this spiritual battle is raging.\u00a0 It\u2019s raging stronger every day, and God\u2019s people are being trampled by the serpent and his demons.\u00a0 Destroyed for lack of knowledge.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And so demonic delusion reigns;\u00a0 legalized, legislated murder of our own babies, sodomy, \u201cgender confusion,\u201d brainwashing of our children to an evil, godless agenda, resulting in murder, rape, pharmakea, worship of false gods, rejection of our loving Creator, spiritual and emotional bondage.<\/p>\n

God is looking for WARRIORS in this spiritual battle.\u00a0 Faithful servants who will get up out of their padded church pews, take up the Sword of the Spirit and go engage the war.\u00a0 It\u2019s up to US, my friends, because it is obvious that the vast majority of our pastors, prophets, elders and \u201cprofessional Christians\u201d simply want to be well liked and popular, but never get their soft, delicate hands dirty.\u00a0 They have missed that portion of Scripture where James writes,\u00a0\u201cYou adulterous people, don\u2019t you know that friendship with the world means enmity with God?\u00a0 Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know about you, but I don\u2019t want to be an enemy of God.\u00a0 I also NEVER want to hear those words,\u00a0\u201cDepart from me, you worker of iniquity, I never knew you!\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 On the contrary, someday, maybe someday soon, I want to hear,\u00a0\u201cWell done, thy good and faithful servant.\u00a0 Enter into the joy of thy Lord.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Please friends.\u00a0 You know the stakes.\u00a0 You know the time is short.\u00a0 How much longer will God\u2019s patience remain?\u00a0\u00a0 Get up.\u00a0 Stand up for Jesus!\u00a0 The dragon and his demons are having their way.\u00a0 Who will stand and fight the enemy, as David marched boldly and courageously to Goliath and said\u00a0\u201cNO!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth, and that authority He gives to US TOO \u2014 His faithful who can honestly be called by His name.\u00a0 He said we, as His followers would do even greater things than He, if only we would fear not, understand our authority in Christ, and step out and stomp the head of that evil serpent with our heel!<\/p>\n

This is OUR job.\u00a0 Not a job for the delicate professionals\u2026.\u00a0 it\u2019s for those who aren\u2019t afraid to get hot, sweaty, dirty, and beat up in battle.\u00a0 Nobody said this spiritual battle would be easy.\u00a0 But we CANNOT be defeated if we will just STAND.\u00a0 Remember Revelation 12:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAnd they overcame by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and loving not their own lives, even unto death.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0The spiritual battle for the souls of men, women and children is raging.\u00a0 Will you enlist? Or will you remain asleep while the prowling, hungry lion devours you \u2014 AND your children and your grandchildren, and our nation?\u00a0 It\u2019s time to put on the armor so you may stand your ground and after you have done everything, to STAND!\u00a0 Remember Matthew 24:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThe one who stands firm to the end will be saved.\u201d
