Benjamin Baruch

The 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union ended the Cold War, or at least that’s what the West declared and celebrated.  Post-Soviet Russia appeared to embrace free markets and democratic elections and this “new” Russia was hailed as a friend and ally. Unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has masterfully orchestrated the invasion and annexation of former Soviet territories, has managed to insert Russia into the middle of the geopolitical scene in the Middle East, and has in the process exposed President Obama and his administration as bumbling fools.

In The New Tactics of Global War, authors Benjamin Baruch and JR Nyquist explore what happened at the end of the Cold War and why Russia remains the number one threat to the United States. The moves and counter-moves being played out on the world stage stem from a long-running strategy of deception.

Stay tuned for this eye-opening discussion of what is unfolding today politically and how all of this is no surprise to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. This episode of SER is my conversation with Benjamin Baruch.
